Birth, House

This week we are crossing our fingers about a house that we bid on. We are the only bidders and we feel that with our new realtor, we have a good chance of finally getting a home!

We have also made a decision about the baby's birth and have decided to go with a natural birth at a birth center in Santa Rosa and are excited to start that process of taking the classes, meeting with our midwife, etc.

Ellen's placenta has moved out of the way so we can now facilitate a natural birth- yes, that means no drugs.

Yey! Things are looking great!

Can't Sleep

So, I've not been sleeping lately because I'm so worried about not having a house for the baby. All that I want to be doing right now is unpacking, cleaning, and getting my new house ready for the baby. This is not happening because we offered three times and either got outbid or the realtor was not professional enough to call us back. Super frustrating. While my wonderful husband is sound asleep on this nice Saturday morning, I am jumping out of my skin waiting to go this to see more houses later.

Anyway, this nesting thing is very true. Also, nine months is way too long to grow a baby. I think it should be 4. That is plenty of time! Patience is a virtue that I do not have right now.
